Chinas Geely To Liberate Volvo
Its a done deal. Volvo is now the property of Chinese automaker Geely, whose founder says Volvo is a "tiger" that needs to be "liberated".
Part of that "liberation" is wider distribution, and the production of 300,000 units a year in a Chinese factory.
