Audi TT RS Plus Review

Obvious that with the new aesthetic that has given the TT RS Plus, we are ahead of the dynamic model and fit within the range of TT. The RS option gives you a unique driving experience, but with the new series Plus, we find that everything is improved slightly, to find even more attractive an Audi TT. The new line of RS Plus is special, and this has been dressed for the occasion. Standard features a bright red body color Metallic, to turn heads, which combines perfectly with a black five-spoke wheels and red margin. I already talked a while of this model, which wanted to break with the current generation.
The exterior lines that have followed, are what were in the conventional RS, with a metal grid that separates from the rest of the range, to acquire a more sporty and elegant, with a bumper that have little to do with those of his brothers. All mechanical parts have been renovated to make way for the new engine, and also to act against the effect of maximum power. In this regard, we note the brake system consists of high-performance four-piston fixed calipers, willing to give everything at any time.
Motorization
The new TT RS Plus is equipped with a new engine, the 2.5 liter TFSI with a capacity of 260CV (20 more than in the RS version we knew so far). Also torque has increased and is now in the 465 Nm. With this engine the TT achieves a top speed of 280 km / h which is electronically limited so as not to burn the wheels faster. It is also capable of accelerating from 0 to 100 km / h in just 4.1 seconds.
This time, we find that we can choose from a six-speed manual transmission, or opt for the technology S Tronic seven-speed gearbox and a very agile. Traction is at all times to all four wheels.
Prices
With new mechanical changes and the "plus" performance we found on other versions, it stands to reason that the price is increased when compared to the RS that existed until now.
The new Audi TT RS Plus can further enlarge the family of the TT that currently has a notable presence among drivers who need a sports car and youthful appearance. Thus, the German manufacturer is able to catch up to the great luxury sports, competing with renowned manufacturers like Lotus, who seeing the picture, already stepping up to create a vehicle unattainable by the competition The new Lotus Spirit 2013, which we have already made the first approach.
